2018 News

4/21-22/2018 - Clearlake Oaks, CA

The Bass-n-Tubes Clear Lake Open was held at the new Oasis Campground (formerly M&M) in Clearlake Oaks.

The weekend was spectacular, with great weather and light breezes, and the fish cooperated as well as most everyone brought fish to the scale.

At the end of the weekend SCBBBC's Andy Mercado was the guy to beat.
With two five fish a day limits totaling 38.03 pounds Andy took the win!
Andy also scored both day one and day two big fish with a big ole 6.68 pounder on Saturday and followed it up with a fat 5.81 pound beauty on Sunday.
Andy reported scoring all his fish with an under spin and Kietech trailer.
This was Andy's first ever win, and on his birthday too. Congratulations and happy birthday Andy!
Coming in 2nd place was Matt Nyiri. with a two day, ten fish limit of 33.16 pounds.
Randy Kidd came to the scale with a couple of solid limits for 32.13 pounds and a third place finish. Following in the fourth spot was Matt Cahill with 26.65 pounds for his best ten. And rounding out the top five was Kevin Marcheschi. Kevin ended the weekend with with 26.14 pounds of Clear Lake bass.
Congratulations to all the top finisher’s, and huge thanks to all of BnT's sponsors.
