to Bass-n-Tubes
Bass-n-Tubes
is a northern California Float Tube, Kickboat, and Kayak Bass
fishing club. We welcome anglers of any skill level and all
ages to come on out and join the fun of our low keyed, low
cost style of Bass fishing and tournament angling.
BnT will have three regions again for 2008. Each region will
hold 7 tournaments during our 2008 season from February to
October.

The
April 26th Coyote Bait and Tackle Open was also the
third points tournament for the Travelers Region in
2008. Taylor Capilla took the win in the tournament
and with it first place BnT Travelers Region points.
Taylor weighed in the only limit in the tourney for
12.29 pounds. He caught his five best with a spinnerbait
and senkos. Taking second place for BnT points and
third overall despite a broken oar up in the creek
was Scott Rouhier with three fish for 6.30 pounds.
The third place BnT finish went to Greg Calcagno with
three fish for a total weight of 5.29 pounds.

The
Delta Region's third tourney of the year was held
on April 6th at Luis Park in Stockton. Fourteen guys
kicked away in the morning civil twilight for a day
of great fishing in the California delta. When the
weights were tallied at the end of the day Daniel
Balaba came out on top with a solid limit of jig fish
at 19.88 pounds to take his first BnT victory. Taylor
Capilla had a nice limit for 18.71 pounds and the
days big fish of 6.89 pounds to earn second place.
Taylor's second place finish put him in the lead for
the 2008 AOY race. Mitch Teman would take third place
with 16.09 pounds.

The
Shasta Region held their Third event for 2008 on May
fourth at Lake Shasta. Six men and women showed up
for the showdown and at the end of the day it was
Jeremy Brumbelow who made it two in a row and took
the win Jeremy brought five fish to the scale for
9.89 pounds. Second place went to Tim Zandbergen who
also had a solid Lake Shasta limit with five fish
for 9.23 pounds. Rounding out the top three Was Mark
Zandbergen. Mark also brought a limit to the scale
which weighed in at 8.67 pounds. Mark also took home
the big fish option money with the days big fish of
3.35 pounds.

Tournament
Ready Livewells
In
the interest of better preserving our tournament caught
bass for future generations to enjoy BnT livewell requirements
have changed for 2008.
These new requirements will be in effect for all BnT tournaments
including opens.

BnT tournaments are always about having fun. Most tournaments
are preceded by a big camp out with lots of fish talk
and good times. You can browse the schedule and results
on the left as well as check out the archives from years
past. If you'd like to fish with the club it's best
