2009 Tourney News

July 7 , 2009 - Middle River

Twenty two anglers took to the water in Middle River to do battle with some delta toads. The wind would blow and the fishing was tough for the most part, but someone always figures them out.

Jon Burgstrom would come out on top at the end of the day with one of only four limits that came to the scale. Jon had 14.30 pounds and he topped off his best five with a nice 6.27 pound kicker. Second place and big fish winner is Robert Middleton. Robert had four fish for 13.58 pounds with the big one topping the scale at 7.97 pounds. Taylor Capilla took third place honors with a limit weighing in at 13.56 pounds. In the fourth spot was Paul "Rocky" Rockwell who finished out the paying positions with five fish for 12.93 pounds.

Next on the schedule is a two day event July 11 & 12 at Beacon Harbor on Bethel Island. See you there!
